"I remember the plays I saw when I was growing up... nothing compared to what happened in a dark theater with the music, lights, and real actors. Everyone needs a little magic in their lives."
Teddy Studt, founder of PlayTime Productions
What does it take to put on a PTP play?
It takes the dedication and hard work of each child in the cast, who will receive approximately 100 hours of instruction, supervised practice, and performance opportunity.
It takes the commitment of cast families, and volunteers, and the cooperation of the libraries, schools, and communities that host performances.
And it takes the dedication and talents of the veteran theater performers who guide all rehearsals and shows.
